Accessibility statement

Standard we follow

We design and review the site against the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. It is a working target: the site partially conforms to that level and we measure it with every release.

What we have done

• The text colors of the site palette have a contrast of at least 4.5:1 against white and cream backgrounds, and no text is smaller than 12 px.
• The site works with a keyboard: focus is always visible and there is a link to skip to the main content.
• Dialogs move focus inside when they open, keep it there while open and, except for required steps, close with Escape; when they close, focus returns to where it was.
• Buttons, fields and images have an accessible name in the language of the page that matches the visible text.
• Forms have labels, errors are announced to screen readers and never rely on color alone.
• Nothing closes or advances on its own: notices and dialogs wait for you to close them.
• The home page carousel and scrolling band can be paused, and they do not move on their own when your system asks for reduced motion.
• Checkboxes, buttons and links have a touch area large enough to use on a phone.
• The site is in Spanish and English.

Known limitations

• Legal PDF documents (deeds, registry certificates and some platform documents) may not be tagged for screen readers. If you need one in another format, we will prepare it for you.
• Identity verification is run by an outside provider and its screen is not under our control.
• Interactive maps show the location visually; the written address always appears on the listing.
• Property videos are uploaded by sellers and agents and have no captions; the listing describes the property in writing and, if you need a description of a video, we will prepare one for you.
• We check the contrast of the palette colors; some text with its own color, outside the palette, may fall below 4.5:1 and we are fixing it.
• The internal guides used by the BuyEnjoy team are in Spanish only, and some internal screens and some signed-in panels still have text in a single language.
